Polar Paul Grund The Creators Deck

Made from 7-ply Canadian maple, this 8.375" Paul Grund pro deck from Polar Skate Co. features artwork designed by one of the brands ongoing guest artists Jacob Ovgren. Entitled 'The Creators' the underside features a centralised rectangular lightning bolt style graphic coloured in black and blue with a double helix, a blue tone hand to one side and a silhouette of a male and female body printed on top. Highlighting the model, bold 'Paul Grund' text has been added above the graphic whilst on the topside a full colour wash provides a vibrant background for an additional graphic illustrated in the same style with 'Polar Skate Co. artwork by Jacob Ovgren' text below.

Known for his lighthearted approach to design through humour driven cartoon style illustrations that cover lesser discussed themes, Jacob Ovgren is a Malmö based artist who collaborates with Polar Skate Co. each season for a collection of drawings released under 'Jacob's Corner'. Alongside Ovgren, the brands founder Pontus Alv has also selected Emile Laurent, Stefan Narancic and Klez Zawisza for their creative input across apparel, accessories and skate hardware.
