Maurice Cheeks is a Hall Of Fame All-Star NBA player. After a successful college career at West Texas State University, he was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in 1978. Cheeks played with the Sixers for over a decade and took home a championship with them in 1983. In 1989, Cheeks was traded to the San Antonio Spurs and spent the last four years bouncing around to teams year after year, spending on year each with the Spurs, Knicks, Hawks, and Nets. After retiring from the NBA as a player, he returned as a coach shortly after, leading the 76ers, Thunder, Pistons, and, currently, the Bulls.
